New Archer Queen AI temporarily reverted

The Spring update featured many hidden changes (complete article coming this Friday) and one of them was a new AI algorithm for the Archer Queen and Grand Warden.

This change was done to improve her intelligence and gameplay, however, the final result was not what the clashers expected. In the end she was resilient to go a new path opened by Wall Breakers. If a Wall Breaker destroyed a Wall fragment, the AI failed to consider the broken Wall piece and would continue as if the Wall was still there.

For this reason today Clash of Clans reverted this change, right in time before CWL starts, so the good (not so much) and old Archer Queen AI is back. However this is just temporarily, the Clash of Clans team is still working to improve her intelligence so we should get another "hidden" change pretty soon, probably as soon as the CWL ends.

Please note that this is an AI issue, it's not about the new 3D model and controversial new look. She is still in 3D.

Although we introduced new AI algorithms to the Archer Queen and Grand Warden in yesterday's update, we will have to temporarily revert part of the Queen's AI to its former state. With the issue detected, we are reversing it before the start of the Clan War Leagues so it doesn't cause any issues there.

The reason behind this is although the new pathing using the Jump Spell proved to be successful, the AI governing ranged units through Walls turned out to be a bit problematic. If a Wall Breaker destroyed a Wall fragment, the AI failed to consider the broken Wall piece and would continue as if the Wall was still there.

We are still keeping the Jump Spell pathing in there, but reverting the Wall pathing temporarily until we can get it fixed which will require an additional update/maintenance. This AI reversion will affect not just the AQ but also other ranged ground units such as Archers, Cannon Carts, etc.
