With the introduction of Hero Skins the Heroes are now in 3D. This change was reportedly made to make the development of Heroes skins easier.
However, not all Heroes are currently 3D. The Grand Warden still has the old 2D look. He will get skins, but there was not enough time to create a fully animated 3D Warden for this update. Warden fans, hang in there, you will get the Warden in 3D and cool skins as well.
Heroes no longer take a nap to regenerate their health, now they take the knee. Wonder how long it will take for the Game of Thrones memes show up.
If you tap on the Queen she will wave back to you. Live long and Prosper! o/
The Barbarian King and Archer Queen visual used to change as you upgrade them. Each one had 4 different visual levels (level 1-9, 10-19, 20-40, 41-60).
Now with the 3D model the King and Queen look the same on all levels and there is no way to differentiate them by their look.
Now the King drops his sword when he if knocked down during battles.
This was an announced feature but the process to activate was not really explained. You must go Preferences -> More Setting - > Use Dark Clouds.
I'm not the biggest fan of this feature, but this has been requested by players for a looong time. This mode reduces the brightness of the clouds, making them a bit easier on the eyes, especially if you're playing in a dark room or if you're feeling especially photosensitive to bright, white lights.
Please note that the Cloud Fix know as Operation Blue Skies is still scheduled to the first half of 2019.
Now Leaders can remove wrong donations from the Clan Castle on War map (regular Clan Wars and Clan War Leagues).
There is a new rank on the game coming soon: Clan War League! The rank is not yet available, but the tab is already there.
A maxed out Tornado Trap was nerfed from 10 seconds to 7 seconds. However, it still is 10 seconds, the update didn't work. Watch out as the Tornado Trap is still super strong, but should be fixed right after CWL ends.
The limit of League Medals you can hold went from 2.000 to 2.500. Pro clasher issues...
Now the builder gives you even more suggestions. You can scroll down the suggestions tab to see more available upgrades.
The Auto Reload feature was announced on a small note and many Clashers requested to add here.
There is no need to re-arm the traps and reload X-Bows, Inferno Towers and Eagle Artillery anymore. Now when you open the game this happens automatically. The traps are re-armed at no cost.
Note: X-Bows, Inferno Towers and Eagle Artillery still uses ammunition, so "dead bases" will still have unloaded defenses if the player has not logged back in to reload them. The easy loot continues!
This was announced by Supercell on Reedit and might take a few clans by surprise: if the Leader of a clan becomes inactive for 90 days the Leadership will pass to the next senior active Co-Leader as long as that Co-Leader has been active in the last 60 days.
Seniority is determined by how long a player has been in the Clan. If the next senior Co-Leader hasn't been on for 90 days, then it will go to the next senior Co-Leader.
