Today a very special event started on Clash of Clans, the Winter Jam!

Rewards
This is by far the most exciting event ever on the game: all buildings on your Home Village, everything, has a 50% discount.
This includes Gear Ups, Traps and yes, Walls. This is your chance to finish you Walls before the next update.
The event started today after a long maintenance break that made many clashers excited thinking it was the "big 13" update that should introduce a new Town Hall level, but right now only the event started.
Duration
Lasting 12 days, the event will obviously end before the Winter, which makes us believe that in 12 days something bigger will come, probably the Town Hall 13 update.
