Clash Back Thursday is a # on Twitter created by us based on the famous "Throwback Thursday". As you can imagine, most Thursdays we post curiosities about the game and the changes that occurred over the years.
Because of its huge popularity, likes and RTs, we are now posting the fun facts here as well, so everyone can check them out even if they don't follow @HouseofClashers on Twitter.
Did you know the visual of the wall level 11 was drastically changed? The original wall added in 2013 was "blue electric." In 2015 the wall was changed to the "lava" theme we currently have, matching the Town Hall.
Do you miss the electric wall?
When Clash of Clans was released in 2012 the Home Village had an animated waterfall. However, 3 months later it was removed due to performance reasons.
Santa’s Surprise was added for the first time in 2012, the first #ClashofClans Christmas, and returned in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Fun fact: the brewing time of the original spell in 2012 was 25 hours!
The Archer Queen was added to #ClashofClans in 2013 and the original stats were absolutely insane. It had only 30 levels, but check this out:
• Level 30 upgrade time: 14d and 12h
• Level 30 regeneration time: 21h and 30m.
The Royal Champion was added with only 20 levels, but did know the Grand Warden also started with only 20 levels in 2015? However, the Archer Queen and Barbarian King started with 30 levels in 2013.
