This spell was introduced on the 2018 Christmas Update.
The Bat Spell spawns several Bats over time on the battlefield.
Bats are fast, low health troops that target defensive buildings only. Only when all defenses are destroyed they will target other buildings.
Like Skeletons, Bats no longer trigger traps, so they can't be used to "clear the skies" before an air attack or Queen Walk.
This spell uses one housing space, just as all Dark Elixir spells.
Stacking Bat Spells is possible and commonly used.
Using many Bat Spells at the same time increases the spawning rate of Bat. Since it has a housing space of only one, you can replace two Rage Spells with four Bat Spells and flood the battlefield with many, many Bat.

Staking multiple Spells on the same area increases the spawning rate of the Bats. Since it has a housing space of only 1, you can replace 2 Rage Spells with 4 Bat Spells and flood the battlefield with many, many Bats.
Bats have quite low life so it has to be used as a support spell and never by itself.
Bats are powerful only when they are in large quantities.
Due to its low health, its best use is against single target defenses as they can easily overwhelm them. It also does a great job distracting single-target Inferno Towers.
Since we are talking about a spell, the Bats can be spawned right on top of the defenses, including single Inferno Towers. However, this spell is most commonly released on the sides of the village and the Bats fly over your army while targeting defenses.
