"This fearless warrior relies on his bulging muscles and striking mustache to wreak havoc in enemy villages. Release a horde of Barbarians and enjoy the mayhem!"
Barbarian is a Clash of Clans troop that can be trained with Elixir.
He is a single target unit that makes single damage.
He is the first troop to be unlocked on the game, capable of hitting targets 0.4 tiles away.
The Barbarian, among with the Archers and the Goblins, uses only a single housing space, being one of the simplest troops on the game. They all are very weak, cheap, make very low damage, and are commonly used by low-level players only at the beginning of the game.
The Barbarian is used basically by low-level players to lead attacks with Archers behind as a support troop.
He is also commonly used on farming formations on low and mid Town Hall levels. Since she can be trained really fast and in large numbers, you can set up a cheap army of Archers and Barbarians (Barch) within minutes and attack Inactive Bases, or loot as much as possible as long as you don't care about winning the battle.
