Creating Siege Machines

Siege Machines are special army troops that can carry the donated Clan Castle troops to the battlefield.

There are currently 6 Siege Machines available:

All Siege Machines are created using Gold, being the only army item not created with Elixir or Dark Elixir.

The production speed can be increased with Gems. For 30 Gems you can get a 4x boost for an hour.

The production is also affected by the Training Potion, who will also boost the Barracks, Dark Barracks, Spell Factory, Dark Spell Factory and Heroes regeneration.

How to use Siege Machines

To be able to create your own Siege Machines you must be at least Town Hall 12.

However, starting on the Clan Castle level 6, which requires a Town Hall level 10, you can receive a donated Siege Machine from clanmates.

You can use only a single Siege Machine per attack. They are special vehicles that will carry the donated troops from your Clan Castle to the battlefield.

During the attack, before the Siege Machine or Clan Castle troops deployment, you can choose if you want to release the Clan Castle troops by themselves (without Siege Machine), if you want to use the Siege Machine you received as a donation or a Siege Machine you have created on the Workshop.

The Siege Machine deployment works as a regular troop or the Clan Castle troops: you must deploy them outside the enemy village.

Once deployed they will attack just like a regular troop. When destroyed, they will release all Clan Castle troops on the battlefield.

However, once deployed the Siege Machines have a special feature: you can choose if you want to manually "break" them as release the troops. This is not used very often, but if you want to release the Clan Castle troops to a specific location of the village, you can do that.

Upgrading the Workshop

Each level of the workshop unlocks a new Siege Machine type.

Upgrading the Workshop stops the Siege Machine production. However, since you can use only one per battle and you can request one as a donation, you will be able to keep using the Siege Machines without issues on your attacks, as long as you have a Town Hall 12 clanmate to donate it.
