The Elixir Storage allows players to safely store Elixir produced by the Elixir Collector, stolen on multiplayer battles and collected from the Loot Cart and Treasury.
The Elixir Storages are the main storages on the game as the Elixir required to upgrade walls and start upgrades on the Laboratory comes from them.
Upgrading the Elixir Storages increases its capacity and it is done with Gold.
Elixir and Gold Storages are similar, have the exact same stats and loot calculation.
The loot available to steal from the storages depends on your Town Hall level.
Lower Town Hall levels offer the highest percentage of loot, but higher levels of Town Hall offer a much bigger cap, increasing the amount of loot available every time you upgrade your Town Hall.
Once you reach the storage cap, the amount available to be stolen will not change even it the storage becomes full. For example, having 6,000,000 or 8,000,000 Elixir doesn't change the amount of loot available on a Level 14 storage, as it is limited by the Town Hall cap (550,000 on a Town Hall 13).
All storages are immune to the Lightning Spell and Earthquake Spell.
