Clashers, today Supercell released a brand new Super Troop, the Super Archer!
The release of this troop came as a big surprise; no one was expecting. This is the first Super Troop to be released outside an update.
The Super Archer is a powered-up version of the regular Archer. It is also inspired by the Magic Archer from Clash Royale.
The Super Archer makes 132 damage, a massive upgrade from the regular Archer that makes only 32. She also has 500 HP, about ten times the HP of the regular Archer.
However, all these upgrades come with a cost, the Super Archer uses 12 Housing Spaces, while the regular Archer uses only one.
Super Archer's arrows deal damage to multiple targets in a row.

Even though she still makes "single target" damage, her arrows will go through the target and hit the next building.
The Super Archer has a range of 6 tiles (up from 3.5 on the regular Archer), but the arrow always flies for 12 tiles, hitting all buildings on a straight line. This is whats makes this troop very useful to sniping defenses at the beginning of the attacks.
This is somehow similar to Bowler's attack, but instead of giving one extra hit, the Super Archer will hit all buildings that are inline to its main target.
The upgrade costs 25.000 Dark Elixir and, as all Super Troops, lasts for 3 days.
Even though the Super Archer is more powerful and much stronger than the regular Archer, her most common use is not on the main attack, as it is improbable she will survive a long time. Using 12 housing spaces, the usage of mass Super Archers doesn't seem a good practice as well.
However, she is very useful to "snipe" buildings before the actual attack.
With her ability to hit in line buildings with a single shot, depending on the layout, she can destroy important defenses inside the walls while aiming at "trash" buildings located outside the walls, usually Elixir Collectors, Army Camps and Barracks.
However, she can also be used on regular attacks to destroy all buildings outside the walls and prepare the "funneling", destroying all structures that can cause your troops to go in the wrong direction.
