    Bowler

    This big blue dude digs the simple things in life - Dark Elixir drinks and throwing rocks. His massive boulders bounce off of their target and hit again behind it for a double strike!

    Bowler is a Clash of Clans troop that can be trained with Dark Elixir.

    He is unlocked by upgrading a Dark Barrack to level 7, which requires a Town Hall level 10.

    Bowler Explained

    The Bowler targets ground buildings, without preference, making moderate splash damage.

    His attack is quite unusual: he throws a large boulder on a straight line that bounces one time.

    The boulder does damage two times then: on the first hit when it bounces and on the second and final hit when it lands.

    After the first hit, the boulder flies an additional 3 tiles to hit the second time.

    Bowler boulder makes damage on the Wizard Tower, bounces one time over the wall and makes additional damage to the Cannon

    He also has the ability to throw the boulders over walls. The boulder can be thrown directly over the wall or might go over the wall after it bounces.

    How to Use Bowlers

    With moderate health and capable of hitting multiple buildings on a single shot, even over walls, he is a great support troop to your main attack and is often used on the Legend League, usually deployed behind Golems or the Barbarian King.

    His splash damage is also great against ground Clan Castle Troops, especially Witches that can spawn several skeletons luring the Archer Queen.

    Mass Bowlers is very unusual, but taking several of them with Healers is not unheard of and is a cool attack. However, most Bowler attacks use around 7~10 units to give your attack a nice damage boost and help to clear out ground Clan Castle troops.

    The Bowler is also a great troop to clear buildings outside the walls to prepare funneling, as he can damage two buildings with a single shot.
