This is a brand new Clash game being developed by Supercell. It is still in development and doesn't have a global release date right now.
Clash Quest is a turn-based, tactical, adventure strategy game, which starts very simple. Once you get into it, you'll see there's a lot of depth and the complexity opens up.
The player faces off against preset defenses, and the way that our troop work is similar to what you see Clash Royale and Clash of Clans. The troop pathing or what they're targeting is very similar.
Each battle is divided into a few stages. You start with a set amount of troops in your army. If you run out of troops, you lose the match.
One way to get stronger is to get more units in your army. You can get that by exploring the archipelago, so you can get these army increases as a reward from a battle and also from the map.
You can either select an individual Troop and deploy them that way, but the rewards or the payoffs are by forming larger combinations of the same troop. Obviously, those kinds of things can have a big impact or effect on the outcome of the battle.
The inspiration for Clash Quest came from the Clash characters. Each one has its unique way of behaving or attacking, where the dev team felt like there was an opportunity to create a totally new experience around those characters.
A brand new feature brought to the game is Bosses. On the current Clash games, there is no such thing as bosses, enemies of villains, and this game has that.
Each Troop also features Items that unlock special abilities. For some items, you need to activate a big combo to get the item power, while some are more passive.
