Clone Spell
Turn this Spell into a pop-up army!\n\nClone Spells create a circle of spawning that creates limited-lifetime copies of troops that enter it. It will only spawn up to a maximum housing space of troops.
The Clone Spell is an Elixir Spell unlocked by upgrading the Spell Factory to level 5, which requires a Town Hall level 10.
This spell was introduced with on the May 2016 Update.
Clone Spell Explained
The Clone Spell creates a 3.5 tile radius blue circle that duplicates the friendly troops that go inside.
Duplicated troops will have the same level and health than the original troop. However, they will last only 30 seconds.
The number of troops cloned is limited by the spell level. Each level has a specific housing space limit of troops that can be cloned.
The newly cloned troops will always have full health, even if the original troop doesn't have.
The Clone Spell can duplicate all troops, including Skeletons from the Witch. Only Heroes can't be cloned.
This is the only spell with a housing space of three.
Stacking Clone Spells
Stacking Clone Spells is possible, but they work individually and the Clone Capacity doesn't stack.
For example, 2 Clone Spells with a housing capacity of 30 each, will not be able to to create three clones of a single Dragon (20 housing spaces).
Upgrade Differences
Upgrading the Clone spell increases the number of troops that can be cloned.
The lifespan and spell duration will not change.
How to Use the Clone Spell
Cloning damaged "tank" troops is a good idea: the newly cloned troop will have full health. However, the cloned troop will only last for 30 seconds.
This spell is usually used when the troops are near the core of the village. Duplicating troops at that point can give the attacker a huge boost.
