Frosty | House of Clashers | Clash of Clans News and Sneak Peeks

Frosty is the coolest pet... literally. Not only does his icy breath cause enemies to chill out, but he also releases swarms of Frostmites to further slow down defenses and help his Hero.

Frosty is a Pet that can be taken to the battle with a Hero. It was introduced with the 2022 Summer Update.

    Frosty Explained

Frosty's icy breath and the release of Frostmites are key features that contribute to slowing down enemy defenses, thereby assisting the Hero it accompanies.

    Special Ability: Freeze Friends

Frosty's special ability, "Freezy Friends," allows it to periodically spawn Frostmites against nearby defenses.

These Frostmites are instrumental in slowing down enemy defenses, providing a tactical advantage during attacks. The range of Frosty's ability extends to 3.5 tiles.

    Unlocking and Requirements

Frosty can be upgraded through various levels, each requiring different amounts of Dark Elixir. Starting from Level 1 with basic stats, Frosty can be enhanced up to Level 10, where its capabilities, including damage per second, hitpoints, and the number of summoned units, are significantly improved

    Strategies & Tips

    Hero Pairing

Frosty pairs effectively with the Barbarian King. This combination is beneficial in reducing the incoming damage to the Barbarian King and is especially useful against formidable defenses like Monolith and Inferno Towers. Frosty's decelerating projectiles and the spawning of Frostmites complement the Barbarian King's attack style, making this pair a popular choice among players.

When paired with the Grand Warden in ground mode, Frosty's deceleration abilities synergize well with the Grand Warden’s Life Aura and Eternal Tome abilities. This combination is advantageous for strategies that require penetrating the core of an enemy base, particularly against challenging defenses like Inferno Towers, Scattershots, or the Giga Inferno.

    Tactical Usage

Frosty's ability to slow down defenses makes it an effective counter to high-damage defenses like Monolith and Inferno Towers. This is particularly valuable when paired with the Barbarian King, as it allows for more effective attacks against these strong defenses.

In combination with the Grand Warden, Frosty provides significant support to ground troops. The slowing effect on enemy defenses can be crucial in enabling ground troops to navigate and conquer the core areas of enemy bases more effectively.
